Toon material is great !!

had a go on the latest version of Vray for sketchup, the toon material is great fun. i think the standard settings give a nice (farly subtle) effect when rendering large images (this was rendered at 3000px wide initially)

wounded you get the same effect whit some basic materials and an SketchUp outline over the render in PS?

you'd get a similar effect with a sketchup outline over the top. i've used that method before for some diagrams in a presentation.

this particular image took 7 hrs on my dual core machine at 3000 x 1500px, i'm not sure how much longer that is over a normal rendering of it.
