    Re: Dwelling render test

Nice but there is a lot to improve, make a tweak on vray materials and how to achieve real one, first of all your grass needs disp., the concrete needs as well bump or displ. the metal material you are using needs reflections! your windows needs refelction in these case reflect the enviorment. dont include those emmesive lights on your day render its 2010, we need to save energy. LET the natural light control your interior lights!

Wood planks would be better if you add bump!, and add some trees or plants to your enviorment bring more beauty to your design.

Other than what Dave said, the night sky is never black in real life. Make it dark blue at most.
I really like the sky color of the day render is it a Background or VraySky?

Very good work. I never get sky like this with vray. What VraySky, camera and color mapping setting did you use?

The rectangular lights looks very jagged. I'm wondering if you have enable "subpixel and clamp output" under the Color mapping tab?
