  • First render with Rhino...

    Hi all,

I have the eval version of Rhino and eval of Vray for rhino as well, and here is my first render...
I have used Vray for SU already, and the problem with SU is that you can't manage big project or heavy model...
The same file with SU crashed and can't render. But with Rhino, perfect... .

I am not really good with PP, so comment are welcome... ;D

      Frederic,
you've done decent renderings. Keep them coming!
I totally digg the atmosphere you've created in both images. Don't know whether it was on purpose, but it seems like the first image has really strong summer sunlight coming in, whereas the second image features a more fragile sunlight remembering me of a cold, yet sunny winter day. Liked that!

To give you something worth improving even more:

In the first image, you could fine fune the leather material. It looks a little too crispy to me.
And, if I'm not mistaken, the circles of the wallpaper to the right appear a bit jolted. You could scale up the textured surface (or the mapping widget) behind the grey panels and apply the same repeat values as on the other wall. Or group both walls and set up a common box mapping.

In the second image, it's just the curtains that hang there somwhat sterile and uninvolved. Adding more irregularity gives it the dot in the I, if you ask me.

Have fun with Rhino and VfR!

      Cheers,
      matt
