I have been using Rhino and vray for a while now, but wanted to get some feedback and comments on some of my more recent work. First is a model I had from a housing competition I did awhile ago. But working with Jason Phillips I have been making some new interior scenes. The house is meant to be almost all white with light pouring across the floor, very minimal. I will post the raw file and then the photoshopped image after.
Second rendering I created was a loft. Used multiple layers of texture to create depth on the wood columns and ceiling, and I think the brick texture came out just right. Was even able to render in a faded out signage on the rear wall. Again I will post the raw first and then the photoshopped version.
and some other renderings on my flickr page:

Let me know what you think! And wasnt sure if i should put up my settings or not....
more to follow eventually....
just a quick update with a few renderings i did a while back. let me know what you think!
lobby for a performing arts building:
different option done early in design process:
another loft view, not sold on the table and chairs, and not sure the lamp works too well, kinda wierd with the yellow interior shade
another loft view. playing with the depth of field, and added a filter to the reflection layer on my concrete floor to make it look a little bit worn.
let me know what you think...
Thought I would add a couple more renderings. First is a train station that I have been working on since school for myself, and second is an all white view of the loft that i think came out nice....
Have a few new renderings to share:
i think the chair is pretty good, but the concrete wall could use some work. Ive tried to make the wall out of a single surface, and then using displacement on the texture try and create the effect of the wall. any thoughts?
similar scene setup different wall texture again using displacement
let me know what you guys think!
Another train station view:

add another view of the chair and wall. went simpler this time, just drywall. made a few frames and keep tweaking the settings:
another new one, added Eames coffee table, and the Thomas Pedersen Stingray Rocking Chair.
thanks!
new rendering of similar scene. added side wall and tried a darker color walls.
scene setup rhino print screen:
similar scene but new view:
