thanks! yeah i start with a large rectangle, then i apply the material. i then split the rectangle into a floor pattern. then i rearrange the planks to break up the material. its seems like the best way, for me at least, to get the floor to have less repeat and seem more 'real'

The rug itself is 8'x10' with a .25" thickness.
