  • when architects can't make up their minds...

... they hire us visualising guys to render out their different variantions. The more they don't make up their minds, the more money we can make.
This is a sort of never ending story. A month ago I was called on to render some façade studies, now I'm still rendering façade studies. This is version 20 or so.....and probably not the last one.

I attemted a 'Hasselblad but forgot the tripod' look here.

I know that... Good you get money for every version, wrong contracts with architects can make you bankropped.

The interesting thing is, first they do not have money and then they have enough to keep going on endless. Well, beware, such a client will try to get himself a student and a little software next time to do that inhouse.

      regards,

      robert

I had a request for the settings, so I thought I might post them here. Maybe more people are interested.
For Sunlight a direct light at 0.73
The glass also has a output map in the refract slot, RGB level 1.15.
The rest is pretty basic. Linear color mapping 1.0, 1.0 affect background.
In PS the curves were uped (probably 150, 175 - input/output)
