Hey omega, glad you sorted that bumpmap out. Be sure to post an updated image when you have a chance, I am interested in seeing it.

Hahaha, it's in the oven, but it keeps crashing again. I'll post them when they get out.

Re: Freelance Work that could use some crits

        hi...
when we draw a human figure on a sketch, or when we add some people images, we have to pay atention to the horizon line and the height of the viewer... in this case, your height seems to be a person's size, therefore all the other heads should be very close to the same line (perhaps women a little shorter, and some guys a little taller, cause obviously not everybody is equally tall)... it is hard to explain without drawing...
your work is great, i would only suggest you to scale people (or set them) right so that they don´t look like they´re too short (like the woman infront of the table... compared to the size of the other people) and the guy in the bar, who's is much higher than the others, and therefore means that he is either really tall, or he is not well scaled... :P

You're right. I think what's going on is after I go in and scale my people I'm either not measuring from the ground to the head height (maybe from the bottom of the component to the top of the component-not image instead). Or the actual image within the component isn't sitting on the ground. But yes, I know about the horizon line and eye height and all that stuff from way back when--when everything was still by hand...

Anyway, yeah, I'll take care of that in the meantime. Thanks.

updated image. Still need some decent lanterns for the space, any suggestions? The client came back to me today asking for plants and ceiling fans. That's about it though, anyone else have some feedback?

Looks great. What about putting a material in the triangular base of the posts? Maybe make the base plate of the posts a shape of some sort? I like the open feeling. Craving a beer on the patio now.
              Cheers,
              Jeff
