  • Small house - interior

    Some help is still needed.

there is a lot of noise on that mirror on the left. I wonder why. Also, there is noise on the wood panel on the extreme right (close to the camera).

and the wall looks to have some blotches.

any tips on how to eliminate these problems??

I rendered with Indirect Illumination and Light Cache... didnt change any setting.

enable clamp output and sub pixel and set noise threshold to .005

you also need some more lighting inside there....it's very dim.

aceshigh, you are getting closer to have a good render, you need two things that are very important LIGHTNING AND QUALITY
LIGHTNING: if you are using phisical camara decrease the shutter speed on the option tab, 100 t0 60 could work.
and you can actually use rectangular lights behind the camara.

QUALITY: in THE DMC sampler set the adaptive amount to 0.85 and increase the ligh cache subdivision to
      1400.

And please be careful with the textures you are using and the mapping, dont use to much bump on your materials, the chairs on the dinning need a metal material.

i had this effect on a mirror once, when i had two duplicate surfaces of mirrors on top of each other...
Im not sure, but this might help.
The best thing to control the blotches is setting the Hemispheric Subdivs of IR Map higher. Its 50 by default. Could be 120 or more. try it out until you get a good result. (It increases rendertimes a lot though...
