  • VRAY garden

Below are 3 images from the same project with different lighting conditions. The botoom image is a revised version of the first image that I warmed in photoshop using the "Photo Filter"(under Adjustments). It was then cropped as the original composition looked somewhat unbalanced.
I hope to render this again adding a small amount specularity to some of the materials.I will also have to change the paving as it looks slightly odd.

    Re: VRAY garden

Below is the original Vray image. As you can see I have increased dramatically the colour, contrast and levels.I also used the perspective tool in photoshop to correct the slight tapering at the end of the building.Among other things the the roof slate needs to be revised but I hope to repost soon with a corrected image.

Nice collection of vegetation you have. Did you mask it out all yourself?

Very nice images, though on the second one I think that there is too much of the vegetation at the bottom of the image. Think it's mainly that top boulder that looks out of place - obscuring the house.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

              Re: VRAY garden

              Very nice work!

Minor things are the sky (in 2th picture) which doesnt match good to the lightning of the render, and the pavement that looks too flat.
But overall very nice ambiance created!

Some Q's: - great stone-texture on the wall, is it one of the standard-textures from asgvis?
              - the rock's..are they part of a collection or home-made?

              Good luck..

                Re: VRAY garden

The stone is from dosch as is most of the vegetation.the rocks are taken from images I previously had ,cropped and made unto a.png ready to be dragged and dropped.I have quite a large selection of plant entourage which helps save a lot of time when post processing.I agree, the sky in the second dosent work. Its not the original one that was used in the render(you can see a portion of the original with clouds and a bluer sky in part of the glass reflection)The problem was that the original background image was low resolution and was very obvious compared to the building.

Below are 2 rainy day images.I wasn't happy with the amount of water in the first but I think I may have gone a bit overboard in the second...

                    Re: VRAY garden

                    Ha!

Love the first one. Looks great. Although the reflection on patio stone is kind of extreme and really takes away from the image i feel.

Maybe some variations in the indoor lights? Some brighter, some with different color? The roof is a tad smooth/unrealistic as well.

                    The monsoon image is hysterical.

Looks like you used brushes for the water, or how you did it?
