      The ilumination is really great.
I like the textures & the vase next to the LCD (the gradient black colour is marvelous).
      Only two critics:
      - The wood texture should be improved.
      - the LCD looks flat.
      However, it's a great job.

What glass material did you use on the table? It looks fantastic. Also really like the sofa material.

I don't think the emisive material use for the TV screen is quite right. Maybe increase the value abit.
Or add a slight reflection layer.

Displacement on the rug looks spot on.

Maybe try and change the cushions abit. model a slight crease or dent in one. So they don't all look
          perfectly the same.

The daytime render is my favorite. I like the way the sun creeps into the room, giving it a warm
focal point in the center of the image.

great scenes dave ;D Great work on the textures on the sofas, glass etc.
about the lighting on the first image, I think the light projected by the light are a bit sharp. maybe you could soften it a bit?
can I see the sketchup view?

Holmes: Thank you for your comments and its true the emmesive layer needS a reflection and more intensity and the rugged i already fix that. I defenetly share the settings for the glass and the texture for the sofa later on before i end working.

Artu: thank you for your comments i will post the sketchup scene later on.

                    Re: livingRoom Interiors update!

                    Terrific 8/10!

The ceiling is preventing it from being more realistic then it already is. What is it? Perhaps a mild bump map would make it less plastic looking?

I think the lighting is great but i cannot make out the nice fancy wood grain in the console pieces and the sofa. Especially the three hanging ones.

The noguchi table reflection on the last image is wonderful, the carpet is nice as well.

the back wall with the stone, IES lights and the art is the most realistic part of the image.
Sofa material? Where can i find me some of that .

                    Keep it up.
