Hi guys,

I am a high school student and have taught myself to use both vray and rhino. This is my first post of an image here and i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what they like (hopefully there is something ), and what they dont. They are both the same apart from the wallpapers, its only my first render so i will add some more later.

i actually used the glossiness and reflections of the material to get the metal effect and never thought of using a bump map. Ill give it a try though, i guess it will be a much less time consuming method as well

I like it. What about a small fillet on the metal, seem to be to sharp for me. Just a very small fillet.

the visopt is just the high quality one that i think came with vray, im pretty sure you can download it on this website as well though

yea i agree with the fillet idea, never thought of it though, ill give it a try and see what it looks like
