well my friend, you definetly know what you're doing. i see a lot of concepts in your render, i can see that you know how to use displacement, you create materials and you also add people and a back grounds, but everything seems to need some improvements... sky for example, perhaps you could edit it in photoshop in order to correct it's color so that it looks more realistic...
i liked design, i think that it is well applied... sometimes here, architects try to create modern, minimalistic architectures without a real concept, and without any knowledge nor responsability about movement, rythm, unity, etc... you have a nice lot, a nice enviroment and because of that your design goes well with everythin...
    very nice

      Thank you Arqestevez1

I would like to think this design as our crown jewel. We have a few more constructions going on but this one always has a special place for me.
About the backgorund, you are right, I used that background for some time. It is kind of unrealistic but it creates a dynamic, colorful essence.

I have been wanting to learn using HDRI for these for sime time now but I know I have to go to the site everytime and create HDR Images for every building. It just seems like a task that I cannot afford my time to do unfortunetly.

no man, but come on, you don't have to use a different hdri for every sceene, i have a complete collection of hdri's, but i only use two or three... actually, for my projects, i usually use just one, the trick is that you have to rotate it so that the main illumination matches with your sun position...
you know that when you save your render as a png, background is erased... so, why do you need a hdri for each project?
i totally understand your point, renders for architects are a plus, and most of the clients do no need the most photorealistic image... it is actually more important for me to calculate correct prices for the construction, but when you deliver a photorealistic render... man, for them, you really achieve a whole new level in architecture hehe.
        have a nice day

Well HDRI is actually an issue I hadn't had time to dig in. I really want to learn to integrate it (just having the swimming pool reflections would be a peach) but every HDRI tutorial is based for the interior. If you know any links to the tutorials for the architectural HDRI you would be doing me a very good favor by pointing out

I tried a few night renders recently (with the previous vray) and I got a pretty good response for reality for them. I realized that using as much texture as possible makes it hard to distinguish from reality.

This project is not yet started though; it will in two months:

We do quantity survey also, it is a very beneficial thing for the costumer but unfortunetly people are cheep enough to pay for something that will save them a lot of money. Construction business has been in a decline for 6 years in my country :/

I also just updated the website and made it also in English. if you'd like to check out its:

In projects there are pictures of the designs and constructions...

I love seeing sketchup models being constructed in real life site photos. Please make sure you post more when it is finished on site.
Good luck with getting more projects in the future bud! Times are pretty tough everywhere.

                Hi there!

I like your renders! But when I see your building technology I thought wooo! All concrete? I was comparing it with our methodes, but the climat is very different I think. What's the average temperature in your country?
                Are you using insulation?
What kind of material are you using for the facade?
                What kind of base/foundation?

                Thanks bro!

Re: Villa Project for Mr. Saygun (In Construction)

Well I felt the same about Britain's construction system when I first arrived to Cardiff for postgraduate.

In North Cyprus we all use concrete because we have natural resources for it. Our climate have very high temperatures reaching up until 48C in the summer.

We use 3 layers of plaster in general. The building is not fully concrete though. We use the concrete with columns, beams, foundations and after we place insulation brick in between. Afterwards we either put three times plaster or put one times and put extre insulation on it as can be seen in the picture(afterwards we again put plaster)

                    one doubt...
you say you have the natural resources, well, sand, gravel, wood and water are not expensive at all, and we have the best cement company in the world (cemex) eventhough, we do not use only concrete because it is so much expensive and there are a LOT of different ways to protect a building of the heat and all those things... my question is, how much does a M3 of concrete cost in your country?

Re: Villa Project for Mr. Saygun (In Construction)

Well actually I might've put that in a wrong context; we don't have natural resources for steel.

Anything we import, we import them from Turkey since we have an embargo (We are not recognized by the rest of the world except Turkey).

The specific cost of the concrete type, I can tell you after I talk with the civil engineer we work with; but I can tell clearly, considering the embargo, It is way more cheaper than the steel for a house. Even the mediocre/big structure, we build using concrete and insulation bricks.

We do have Britain's Aircrete, our aerated concrete, to use instead of the insulation bricks but customers does not always choose them.

During the one year I worked for the biggest company of North Cyprus, I worked on a couple of steel projects but they were always for storages and such... Never for the high rise buildings...

It doesn't freeze at all in Cyprus? What are the coldest temperatures?

                          just a little below 20

here is a climate data from weather tool/ Autodesk Ecotect about Cyprus/ Larnaca. Not LefkoÅŸa but close enough
