  • First real job.!!

Hello friends, the work is for an architectural firm that designed this pharmacy.
A total of 6 images, at $ 50 each, (I have no idea if the price is right or not, but that's what I asked for, whether much or little money for the work, tell me please)
I also hope to give their opinion and criticism.
    Greetings.

    Re: First real job.!!

wow! well done. and congratulations on landing the work. if your setup/model is as complex as it looks, i would certainly charge more than $50 per image. I'm definitely no expert, but recently completed a project for $150 per image.

Maybe some inconspicuous people would make the space seem a little more friendly.

Also, in the third posted image, the labels on the Listerine bottles are backward!

    Otherwise, bravo!

      I love them all!!!

Very well done. I second the idea of adding people to the rendering. The stock is a little too redundant and (forgive me if this sounds weird) too perfect. I usually take a few of the bottles off the shelf to create a more realistic environment (and speed up render time a little). Maybe its just the stores around here but I never see fully stocked shelves anywhere I go. This would also help a little with the redundant products.

Either way you are definitely doing it right! Good work!

agreed, looks good. To help things have a bit more definition, you might want to try adding some ambient occlusion or some texDirt textures to the scene too. Either way, congrats, great work.

          wow, really nice renders...
about the money, where are you from?
i used to make renders for living, and i started with a similar amount of money... the truth is that your price is too low, but people do not want to pay more in my city...

hi ... thank you very much to everyone for their comments and criticism I will take very seriously for the next work.
I live in Venezuela, and this type of work it does for many people here in town, about 5 to 8 people maximum, I will not live this kind of work, I am a student of architecture. but thanks to you I know that this type of work should be a little more expensive maybe.

but where I live I do not think anyone pays more than $ 100 per image.

            Greetings and thanks "

That would be a good price if I were you. I can do it despite its price less than $ 50. Because I am a poor Vienames person. I want to earn money but it's very hard for me. I can make 3D model with a cheap price for anyone.

                Re: First real job.!!

when i started making renders i was an student too... in the end, i decided that my rendering skills would be only for my own projects... cause it is really hard to achieve such a complicated model, and spend nights working and in the end having people saying that they don't have money, or that they will pay you, but you have to make another correction
people gotta understand that this is beyond the architect degree... this is "una especialidad", therefore, it has a cost that should be respected...

Thank you for the coment of arqestevez1. But a student like me, money is very important to spend. Study, live...money and my mother is very suffering.

                    Re: First real job.!!

Very nice renders I agree you should've charged more...

Salesmenship advice: Since you finish the model and computer renders it, I find it usefull to charge for the model; I always say 6 renders but take about a 40 renders step by step during the design process.. I render the design renders with low quality and render the last thing with good trees and stuff..

You can say instead of 50 per image you have another option; 500$ for model and you can have upto 15 renders. Adding 9 more is not a hard job after finishing the entire model(computer renders it mostly after tweaks) but the costumer will think that they can have 9 more for only 200$

It works for external architecture models; but donno if it will work for interior design..

                    Again, nice renders...

Thanks to all again! your comments really mean a lot to me.
Thanks for your comment ^ epinox^ certainly the most difficult of these, is the modeling work,so charge for the model, and not the images seems to be much better.
                        Thanks!
