Hello folk, i have been working on this exterior and i wanted to recieved some comments or tips to enrich the quality of the render. In some others attempts i added some displacement and reflections on the tiles but the render time was insane, i don´t know if there's a way to get a decent quality including displacements and reflections without excesive render time. Thanks in advance. ;D
BTW these are the settings of my pc: Core 2 Q6600 2.4 Ghz, 8 Gb Ram, Nvidea gforce 9800 1gb, 320 hard drive and the render time was aprox. 45 minutes.

    Re: House Exterior

    it's a nice model...
what did you add displacement to?
i think you should model some roofing tiles and set them one by one... there´s something a rendered a while ago in one of the last pages of the "simple render post"... and render times were really low...
ivys and plants look like they need some reflection... :P

      Re: House Exterior

Thanks for the reply arqestevez1, about the displacement i added it to the stonewall and to the pavement of the first plane. About the roofing it should look like metal laminate not roofing tiles and i didn`t add displacement to it. I modeled the metal laminate but it looks flat, probably because of the distance.
BTW nice tip with the reflections on the ivy, i didn`t considered it but actually it's a good idea.
      Thanks my friend.
