Hey again guys,
After about 3 million renderings my main problem is the colours. They look SOO washed out and dull in the rendering. I've played around with most settings but can't really improve it.
I did some quick work of it in photoshop but i can't really make it look good, I feel that if i had a better render to start with i could improve it loads more in photoshop.
Some of my settings:
Physical Cam: speed 30, F7, ISO80
GI: sun - default except for multiplier 1.3
Image sampler: Adaptive DMC min-1 max-16, noise 0.01. No anti aliasing.
Primary engine: IM mlt 1.15 - doing all my testing with min -5 max -3 but for final render used -3 -1
Secondary engine: LC Mlt 0.85. Subdiv 400 (for testing, will increase to 1000)
DMC sampler: AA 0.85, Noise 0.01, Min Samples 8, Subdiv Mlt 1.0
Color Maping: HSV Exponential, Mlt 1, Dark 0.6 Clamp Output - on Sub Pixels - on Affect BG - on
I'm taking that the main factors that affect the colours would be the color mapping, the camera settings, amount of light coming in and gamma settings? I played around with all of them, I also added omni lights, rectangular lights, made more/increased size of holes for more sunlight to come in. But now i'm stuck as to what to change as i'm not 100% sure where the problem is to fix, what section of the settings should i be playing with in this situation?
I really appreciate any advice, tips or anything given. Thanks in advance guys
Ignore the different coloured squares in the render, that was because of distributed rendering that went funny but i've fixed it already.
I recommend clicking on the link above the images to see them properly (you have to scroll to see the right side of the image here)

Sketchup scene, not sure why, but maybe it can be helpful?

Thanks again
