The noise was supposed to be all along the floor close to the table to simulate wear but that was the only spot that showed up in the render. Not sure why. I'll have to take a look at it and see what went wrong.
Excellent image. And great drawing plans- I really like the roll!
One thing I am wondering about is that my expects to see reflections from the photometrics on the ground plane. Is it just the angle you are rendering from? Perhaps it's just me...
something is weird at the back of the chair seat....seems like the black support is intersecting with the white cushion...or is that the design? other than that it looks great...
I used 12 spots with vray shadows and a vray light plane set to 2 sided that is about two feet from the walls and about half between the floor and ceiling. The vray light is set to .2 and really helps me get even lighting in a scene. You can't tell it's there until you use GI but it really helps.
The map settings are basic, set to high with .65 secondary bounces. The color mapping is default with 1.3 & .9
Corey - I tried IES lights but the render time was way to long for me.
I don't know the render time, I rendered at night and forgot to check when I closed the file, sorry.
GonlacoP - what should I change about the black material? I always have trouble with black. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Great work. The mounted elevations came out GREAT.
Whats outside the space?
About the lighting? How are you creating the light cans with the lighting source? They look great.
I would add some reflectance to the black chair bottoms, a more plastic look instead of being so flat. I think the stools look great in general. I think the black tops lack texture....With more daylight and not being so dark under the table, I think the chairs would like fine.....they just seem to blend right now.
The design and feel of the room are awsome.
Any chanch of a wireframe screen shot? How bout a day scene?
I will probably do a day scene, when its done I will post it here.
Here is the wire of the scene.
I don't have anything outside yet but I will when I do a day scene. I will probably use tinted glass on the windows, I don't care for a bright room when I work. I have heavy shades in my home office now and I prefer a dimly lit room to work in.
