Re: Art gallery and Museum Entrance!

        really nice render...
only suggestions id say, theres a tiling error on the stone wall, when the wall turns 90degrees you can see the texture repeating to the left of the turn.
the soffit (timber ceiling).... for me looks tooo perfect, no joints in the panels etc. i think if you put these in then it would add to the realism.

        great none the less,

        kind regards

            Very nice, Dave.

Where did you get the plants, especially the one in the foreground? Is that a Sketchup model? The texture mapping is great.

            Have a nice day,

Re: Art gallery and Museum Entrance!

Thanks for the comment Ken, and the plant I get it from the google warehouse and I create the mapping, copy the plant 4 or 5 time and then rotate it. and to add more realism I add a reflection layer.

Re: Art gallery and Museum Entrance!

How do you make the wall brick or floor tile to not looking repeat like that?

I always have problems with repeating the mapping image and that make so not real....

                Is there any tips??

Re: Art gallery and Museum Entrance!

Hello v_drift, it depends in the textures you use, are they high res ? what size they have? try to download in cgtextures.com but always download the biggest image for example 3200x1600, then edit the texture in sketchup, right click and select texture position. good luck

                    oh...

so,,, its not just repeating small portion of image but its covering almost the whole wall using high res image?

wow...I didn't know that... I only can find small ones like 4 tile/image...

so,,with 3200x1600 image, how big can you cover with it? 20'x20' ?

how do you scale it properly in sketchup?

                    Thank you!!
