Exhibit Design

I'm messing with a new concept/system, and wanted to share. Nothing fancy here, just 2 spot lights, and I built a large tube to place/render The Exhibit in, that way I don't even deal with The Sun. I always change the field of view in SU. One cardboard texture, one aluminum texture. No bumps or displacement. AO is on, I think the level is 20. If anyone else is an exhibit designer, please post in this thread. Thanks. Zach.

designs for a 40'x50' space for the medical industry....client choose a different design...I'm not re-designing the wheel here or anything...just contributing a different variety of subject matter to this gallery...will add more from this project once my license gets updated for my new machine...any observations or suggestions to improve are greatly appreciated! edit....first two photos have no radius on the spotlights, the second two do have a radius. Thanks, Andy, for the tips!

Hey Zachary - One suggestion I would make is to give a radius to your spotlights so they have some soft shadow. The shadows seem too sharp in your renderings, especially with all the white materials that are receiving them.

EDIT....yup, the biorad thing is really hard edged

Oh - I meant the earlier images where you are using spotlights on the exhibit booth. No problem with the "links" one above with the default sun and sky... That's pretty foolproof!

Those last two "Bio-Rad" renders look much better with the softer lights. Nice!
