    Re: farm house for c&c

Not what I thought about when I read the subject line "Farm House", but a nice rendering and house.

I wonder what the bollards would look like if their color was a little closer to that of the building, maybe not? The house looks so warm and they have a cool color to them. The nearest bollard looks translucent.

The palm in the planter at the entry steps looks a little squatty. Where it stops seems to give the roof a bit more prominence than it needs. If the palm was taller and broke the straight line of the fascia it would create a more interesting shape and reveal more of the windows. The palm that is behind the gazebo could be taller too, that would help to break up the sky abit. A potted plant or three on the patio grouped below the small window might be a nice touch.

I see some odd vertical lines in the lower right hand part of the image that looks like something's showing through one of the PS layers or something.

Nice curtains, are those a models behind your glass?

In general the render is very nice & realistic.
I like it, especially the grass & soil (how did u do it?)
          - My only comment is that you should work more on the plants to give them a more realistic appearance.

This is a VERY good exterior image. Are the trees behind the house models or post process work?

I really want to know what settings you had for this image. Please keep posting, these images are my new favorite!

Hi all, thanks for the cc's..
camionero, hi your right i think I overstretched the palm at my background,,, and pertaining the plants I am still struggling in achieving a realistic leaf, could anyone out there give me tips?

Gallystops, hello, sure no problem, for the setting Irradiance map subdv. 500, min max, -3, -1,
LC, subdv. 800, sample, 0.005, color mapping-linear multiply, environment vray sun intensity 1, sky 3,

Post process with ps: background, line overlay, level adjustment, contrast adjustment, warm filter, diffuse glow and smart sharpening..

Still with the revisions, I will post the final and approved image when done

Incredible. Very good indeed. But I still think you have to change the background.

Generally very good and realistic render.
I like it, especially grass and mud, it's a very good external image. Home models or post process works behind the trees.
