  • Simply Grass...

I just use the Fur to create a simple grass vision...Take me 5 minutes to sesign and 2 Min to render on my Imac QuadCore I7 12 Mb Ram...

I hope you like it. I apply 2 levels of Grass on of 10" and other of 15" inside... Great tool for my next project...

    Thanks.
The best that I can do is keep learning, and the Renderings are just a small step to get real.

I think is a pretty good approach but the truth take a long time and alot of memory build a full landscape....Too many limitations of Sketchup not VRAY!!!

Most 3d modelling software would struggle if you modelled a large ground with each grass strand - which if why one need to use specialised fur/grass systems designed for rendering.

But in most cases the quickest and most realistic results are achieved by adding the grass in post after rendering. Just make sure you get yourself a nice library of grass photos. Bring your camera along when you walk around.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.
