Two renders from the same livingroom- care to comment?
Re: Two renders from the same livingroom- care to comment?
your design is quite good .,but i found it not photorealistic. edit your materials well. keep up the good work on practicing . and try and keep testing your materials .
Re: Two renders from the same livingroom- care to comment?
It looks okay but you can definitely improve it loads more. The first thing is to fix the walls with bricks. The texturing on the sides is wrong and looks fake, I'd recommend modelling each brick to make it look perfect. The images are also too small to really look at them so post bigger renders next time. Design wise, i'm not sure about the amount of spot lights you have, maybe have one over each painting instead and make the light hit the painting itself, possibly add glass on top of the painting also so you get a nice reflection? The tv needs a better image to show that it's a tv and make it emit light with an emmisive layer.

Hi, like others have mentioned the materials need tweaking.
But I have 2 possible ares you may consider for improvement;
1- looking at the outside environment... It's very overcast and moody, yet the shadows coming through the window are 'perfect' as if it were morning sun and clear skies.... So I think you should alter the outside environment or get the lighting to match.
2- this point is redundant if you make changes from point 1, but if not I think you need something on the horizon, to ground the image. All I can see is clouds... Now I've been up some very high buildings and you can always see something on the horizon, no matter how daint and faint it is, there's always something! So maybe a bit of PS will address this, unless of corse this is a Dubai flat, although there isn't solid good Walls so I think not.
I'm unable to see you second image due to some odd Internet problems, but in all promising start keep it up
