lovely render, but for a magazine, it feels like it may be too dark. Lighter feel may be more inviting - especially the wall on the left seems too dark.

Alright, Andybot thanks for the advice that is the reason I post it here in the forum so I can fix it and do it better.

agree with the dark isue, also theres some light licking on the left side of the wall and ceilling. and maybe a little less postproduction cause theres some areas like the ceiling that have mix colors and that happens when there is much postpro. Good job bro!

            hey dave, what's up
i think it's already been said, but it's a little bit dark...
let's see... what could we do to improve it...
maybe increase a little bit the intensity of the lights in the ceiling, and maybe also try something a little bit more artistic, like for example, using depth of view and just focus the cup. i think that would look great.
anyway, it's hard to make a render like this, with artificial illumination, and at the same time keep the romantic atmosphere, so i gotta say that this is great, but we (me too) gotta keep on practicing this kind of renders.

                        Dave,

I think you might be able to find a higher res wood texture for that advertisement image.

                        www.cgtextures.com has TONS

                        just an idea!
