  • First Interior Render

I have been modeling with Sketchup for a pretty long time. I initially used Artlantis for rendering but that was pretty restricting. So i followed a few tutorials by Andeciuala and Omar Estevez! I think it was life changing! I love the results. Please feel free to leave your comments and critiques.

I know i need to work on my rug! im still trying to figure it out

          good...
you see, the hardest part is to make a first render, once you've achieved somehing like this, it's easy to start improving.
i think you need to decrease the bump value of the floor, and also that needs a little bit of extra reflection. usually the bump values for wooden floors are among 5 and 10 %
you didn't apply a texture to everything, for example, there are some weird, white parts on the tv that i think should have some sort of metal material,
and my last comment would be about the floor lamps at the bottom, but this is a very good start.
maybe you could try with a night shot, so you could turn those lights on... and use some ies lights
          great start. see you around
