  • [INTERIOR] Help with interior scenes...

    the renders are about the ceiling... I am not good at interior renders... they are usually dark, I dont know what settings to use... look at the ceiling itself, its white plaster... something like the photo below, but its too dark in my images...






    also, the IES lights appear to be too close to the spots... I actually put the IES lights INSIDE the spots... but of course, they are invisible and thus the spots appear DARK in the image... what would be a good solution for that?? To put the IES lights OUTSIDE the spots, and inside the spots put some white rectangular light?

    I typically use an emissive material for the light lens. set an intensity value of about 3.0, and it will give you the appearance of a lit up light.

      how about decrease shutter speed of Vray camera?It will light up all your scene without any more lights.

        maybe u can use add in ceiling material GI , under the map option check GI and click m add tex a color set the white
