  • Shiny leather material

    i played around with some settings for a leather material that i needed. it´s nothing special or new, but maybe someone can use it, too. As you can see the highlights are different, depending on the objects.

                            Great Metro...nice material, thanks for sharing...

                            Just wondering what method did you use for rendering...direct computation or interpolation of reflections...

                            I am asking because I always get sort of unfinished specular highlights on the rounded edges even with the high settings...I donn know why. It seems like its a pain of vrays interpolated reflection. And I have no time to wait for direct computation (Athlon 1.4 )....is there any way around except for faking scecular highlights?
