  • Scene: Sunny afternoon

    Hi there,

Here is an project i have worked on and off for about 5 weeks. Most time went into the textures wich are half handpainted and half made of photo's.

I haven't used any reference photos, for building the scene.
The car is modeled specialy for this scene and it can also been seen in my other thread "loaded with boards".

I posted two images, one with and one without the coca-cola logo because i couldn't decide wich on to take.... i also added a wire without texture maps.

please feel free to give comments and critics....

    VERY VERY very nice...

Only thing that caught my eyes is the shadows/cracks on the lower right side of the building.. there is nothing that can cast those shadows, and it doesn't look like cracks either.

I supppose it represents some kind of plant growing on the wall, at least it looks like it to me...

Nelils, I loved the light in your image, it's the warmest render I've ever seen in this forum! Congratulations!
Could you please post your light anda rendering settings? Please??

      Regards,
      Joao.

Excellent work! I really like the front left area in front of the wall.
          Very convincing.
Agreed with the request for settings and lighting rig info.

Not sure about the coke logo, it is nice to have something there,
perhaps a mural of some type would go well with the aged feel
and give it some regional context.

                  really good work.

It`s rare to critic something I cant acomplish but what the hell, everybody dose it

The left roof (and maybe the center too) seemes to perfect in a image full of realistic imperfections.
And the right lower plants looks planar (they are, but also seems :P).

The background sky and the light really looks great together, amazing.

fantastic render. I agree with the comments above - maybe just dirty up or degrade the roof tiles a bit.
                    Good job!

really good work - especially the front wall - great lighting as well.

I like the version w/ the coke logo on - it gives an interest point and breaks up the large wall surface.....

                      very nice!

                          WOW just amazing

One thing though... If I had that car I wouldn't park it like that

Turning the wheels the other direction would prevent the car from getting totaled at the bottom of the hill. Might give the layout a little more interest too.
