hi everyone, this is my latest rendering of a living room, i realise my rendering are not has sharp quality has others, please help me with the right settings to get a good quality render.. C&C to improve thanks
If you have no critics you'll likely have no success.
It's actually pretty good. Just a few tweaks I would do:
1. Light. It's too dark at the moment, I would recommend increasing GI, Usually when sunlight hits the surface it's a lot brighter. Try doubling it and then decrease if necessary.
2. Floor. Too much bump, too much reflection.
3. Ceiling lights, the one on the left gives you these weird spots on the wall. I can't remember which setting is responsible for this so I would just increase quality everywhere I can
4. I don't understand what's going on with the windows ... is it background or is there a second layer of curtains that gives us these wavy lines? One way or another it looks a little bit odd.
5. Try placing rectangular light behind the camera to get rid of these pure black spots on couches and in the dark corners.
Thanks skif
your critics definetly helped i think it looks alot better, i switched wall material just to give it a little more life maybe there are few more things i can improve on but this is the progress on this scene...
THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE HELP IN ADVANCE
