    Re: Residential house exterior

hey dude, its looking preety good.
i like the reflectivness of the ¿brick? material.
of course it looks like it's a montage, i mean, it does not look 100% realistic because of the trees, but it's a really nice result.
i think you have to make some color corrections with the ps trees. notice that the vegetation of the place isn't so saturated, i think you need to desaturate a little your trees and also make them a little more yellow. that will help with the blending.
also if you're using photomatch, check the blue axis (the z axis), because it does not match well with the other buildings. perhaps it's an issue of the field of view.
    anyway, really cool work

I really like the bold orange as a style! I agree with Omar about the background. The problem is not the height, it's the angles. Your perspective of the building does not match the background. The photo has buildings tapering towards the sky, while your building is going up straight. Fix one or the other to make it match better. My suggestion would be to stretch the photo to make the vertical lines straight, but that depends on your level of photoshop skills.
My only other comment is that Ambient Occlusion could be reduced somewhat, to me it looks too strong. Otherwise, I like the soft shadows and overall the render came out nice.

Also I have the feeling that the sun in the background in coming to the opposite direction of the building. If you look the left building of your background it has shadow on the front and sun on the right side, while your building have sun on the left side. I like the orange material. I agree with Omar about the vegetation.
