    Hello guys,

I decided to post an image, an image per year will not hurt

I made this one a few months ago and I'm still happy seeing it. Don't asking me why..

I do not know about you, but in general I am very critical of my past works and I have to wonder how customers could find some interesting things in them.

It is without doubt due to my crazy schedule, I think it's been three weeks since I spend 16 hours a day at the studio doing renderings and sometimes when I look at the directory where I store all my works, I see images I do not remember having done ...

    cheers
    Tom

      Hi Teofas,

Since you're still awake (3am here) here is a second one I can live with.
      back from 2009..ouch.. time flies...

..but still.. I can see reflection's colors mismatch .. arf ..but the ambiance is there and is all that matters at the end

create places and escape for a short time

      Tom

All this reminds me of what led me to make 3D viz ...
I think it was the beautiful matte painting of Blade Runner (I was 9 )..

We must make the journey again.

                        Hello everyone,

Thank you for all your messages of encouragement, they affect me much.

But do not misunderstand me, I am not disheartened by the quality of my work.
It's just, on one side, I am exhausted and customer feedback are sometimes difficult to reconcile with a temper on edge

And on the other hand our studio handles so much (too much) missions I do not have time to fine-tune the images as I want. Therefore, it often happens that I am disappointed to see them the next morning with so many things I could do to improve. Even if the client seems happy with the result.

I'm sure this is a normal reaction in a creative process ... no?

I just wanted to share these feelings with you last night, which was once again a short night (in bed and wake up at 4am to 7am)

Again, thank you sincerely for all your answers .. I needed a little cheer up

                        Yummy Cooper Tom
(yes, stefan, I remember you very well and the shader I tried to do)

Yeah I know that feeling. I think that is very natural. I always wish I had just that one more day to iron an image out. Nature of the game I guess.
I really enjoyed looking through your work. Your studio produces some fantastic images. GREAT ATMOSPHERE

                          More please

Definitely a part of the creative process, but it's what drives you to be a better artist!

Actually, for the moment I consider myself more as a robot or a script that an artist. :
I just try to replicate the atmosphere that the customer thinks, sometimes without even knowing it.

An artist tries to reproduce or sublimate his own reality through the means of expressions that are only tools at the end, right?
