Exterior Cladding Render

Hi folks

I was asked to do this exterior a couple of days ago to show what an old building might look like with renovated cladding and windows. I've attached a view of the existing building from google street view (what did we do before google!? hehe)

This is the first exterior I've done, as I normally do interior renders so was a nice change. I am quite pleased with how it has turned out, and I've learnt a lot to improve the next exterior view hopefully.

Thought I'd share it with you guys to get some feedback and crits on how to improve, I think my tree textures need some work but was short on time so... you know how it is

looks nice....

how about making the canopy a frosted green/bluey colour ? and adding a light into the pendent drop down in reception?

on the second render. the tree on the right hand side at the end of the building looks out of place... as its infront of the bushes,(plus there is a duplicate behind it )

my eye gets drawn towards that.

apart from that i think it looks great mate. nice1!

Yea I know what you mean, need to tweak the arrangement of the tree's a little. Also need more model for more variety, which will hopefully come soon.

Your right about making the canopy frosted, it probably should be, I was a bit worried that it might make the shadow it casts a bit less interesting but I'll definitely do another option.

I had the pendant light off intentionally as I wanted this view to focus on the exterior (did a separate internal view of reception) but yes it would probably look nice to see it more, I'll have a play...
