  • Strange reflection issue

I have an hdri, which is causing this strange reflection. Do you know why and how I can avoid it? Increasing the subdivision doesn't seem to help.

looks to me like the hdri texture co-ordinates are wrong, try setting it to environmental>spherical (in the material editor) and see if that fixes it.

It looks more like some buckets are not reading an IES file on that light. Is that an IES light? Using DR?

I am using IES. It seems to have fixed itself, so maybe it was a bucket thing.

Occasionally it seems like the local workstation, or one of the nodes, keeps part of an older iteration, or loses connection to a resource file, and tosses some bad buckets in the mix. Restarting usually fixes it.
