Another one of those last minute, we-need-it-asap projects. 8 hrs on the dot... thought I'd post it for crits. This is my first attempt using the disp. modifier on for shrubs.

Its a nice rendering. But I think that everything seems to be getting bright highlights except for the building. I mean, look at the color of the top part of the planter vs. the light color of the building. The ground also looks a little too light & clean. Same for the sky. It looks like you have turned up the contrast really high and are losing detail in the clouds. Also, LaRon kind of looks like a zombie in this one.
But I do like the mood & environment that you have created. good job!
I would say the ligthing set use is wrong for the background image. The sun is infront of the viewer behind the clouds, yet the shadows cast by the people is falling way from the viewer. All elemts would be darker on the side facing the viewer since it is backlit.
True to all comments...the client was obssesive about contrast and highlights. The image above has a scatterlight filter applied to it...while this one has no post. Personally I like this one more out of the 2.
