    Hi,

I did these renderings for my thesis. Super short turn-around, but i like the way they came out. Even though i like them the way they are, there is probably still a lot of room for improvement. This location is not far from where i live so i could probably take some nicer photos corresponding to the chosen angles better. (I had available only photos i took this winter, so they were not all that great). Also, i feel i should work on the foreground in most of them a bit more. I'd like to hear your comments.

The building on the left (that wraps around) was originaly deep red, with gray details. The one on the right, with tall pilasters was some sick tone of pale yellow. It looked horrible and demoralizing. Also with these colors, the panels did not blend all that well with sunlight. I started experimenting with the see-through effect of the panel, and i tried overcast after dusk, and quite liked the outcome, hence i proceeded to do all of them this way.

The images look very nice. Thoug I didn't understand clearly about the deep red and yellow building. Maybe an image would help more.

          Thanks for the comments.

Lol, i best illustrate my point with an image, you're right.
These are the original existing colors. Maybe a tad darker but still horrible.

I like them, even though I'd have probably gone for a different lighting with this one. I like the overcast, soft light mood, but given that the building is already only shades of grey, I might have tried something more "sunnier". just for the sake of a wider colour palette, or maybe the classic blue dusk, with warmer light from inside the building.

I definitely will try a dusk shot, as i think some of these elements would need to be lit manually, rather than just have light shine through from the inside.

I have a bunch of vampire walking around it seems. I forgot to put reflection on the water.

Any more feedback? People too bright in the last one? Desaturate the shrubbery perhaps?
