  • Tolix Chairs and stools

I had old models of the Tolix chairs in my collection that were no longer really cutting it. Since I wanted to use them in a recent project, I remodelled them from scratch and added a few of their stools too for good measure. The materials are based on existing materials offered by Tolix and were definitely the most fun part.

                  Good idea, Peter!

DVP3D: Actually, they are free - provided you bought the old, cheaper, poorer version I had up on TS for some time
Seriously, I did not upload it as a new file but updated the old one, which means anyone who bought it back in the old days can log in and download the new version. By the way, I intend to do this at regular intervals and revamp older furniture models by updating the files. Happy to take suggestions on this too. I have a few models up there that may not be up to the latest standards - to put it politely.

as usual I'm blown away by your materials, they are perfect!

but you modelled these yourself as well? absolutely crazy, did it take you long to do?

Thanks guys and sorry for the delay in responding.
Yes, These were modelled in-house of course, but the biggest amount of work, time-wise, always goes into the materials (texture-painting and shading).
