        Some times i wonder if that turbosquid thing really works?? i put few of my model to sell but never got any buyer is it that bad or am i charging too high??

            Turbosquid does work but you need:

            1. A lot of models to make money.
            2. To be competitive with pricing. Check any models that are similar or in the same market.
            3. To make as many variations on model format.
            4. Make sure all models and presentation thumbnails are well presented. I personally dont like black backgrounds for my models.
            5. If you can do a 360 degree turntable (new feature on turbosquid) that can give the buyer a much better understanding about what they are buying.

            Just a few of the things I try and do. Haven't made thousands but it's doing ok for me.

                  a stash of free models where registered forum users could put their additions woudl be perfect.
                  i can see it working on the credit basis.
                  u upload model and get credited for its rating/popularity
                  and you "buy" the free models using those credits.
                  this way, everyone who wants to download, will have to share something he/she has done.
