I have not posted an image in quite a while so I thought I would post a seating area with lounge chairs I designed for the company I work for.

This is my first render using linear workspace. Critics are welcome.

I would really appreciate some critics. We get better by hearing the bad and the good. I realize this is a very simple scene, what would make it better?

perhaps a different composition of the photos where they're closer to each other. The lighting is quite uniform, so something a bit more dramatic may help. A late afternoon scene with warm sunlight streaming in, contrasting the lamp light could look nice.

Maybe the glass frames need a slight tint to seperate more from the backwall. try a little green touch in the fog color. You can also put a large noise map on the glasses bump channel to simulate a little curvature since there is no reflection right now.

Also the carpet needs more thickness to achieve a visible border, right now it looks like a flat plane on the ground.

Further then that it looks like very good start.

        Best regards

Thanks guys. I am struggling a bit with LWF and getting good contrast in the lighting. All excellent points. I will work on them.

All the lighting except the lamp is thru 3 windows. Perhaps that's what is giving the lighting a washed out look.
