A simple npr

was bored and really did not feel like working on that exterior, so i took a break and tried to make this look npr-ish but decent too.
any comments on the results?

the model was done in sketchup, but the render and the npr effect are from max, vray, finaltoon and photoshop.

Nice effect. Almost looks marker-ish.

I have found that NPR's never lose their usefulness with some clients. They'll pick apart a photo-real image all day long...but give them a more "sketched" look and they will accept it hands down. I think it has to do with the photo-real image giving more finality to the project as opposed to the sketched version being accepted as a "rough draft." People are funny.

I like using Sketchup, you can bang something out pretty quick with it. I can sit my clients down and draw as they talk, they're amazed at the speed.

btw, nice one Psy!!.....is that Tado Ando???......I can't remember for the life of me which one is it though.....arghhh, that's gonna bother me now...
