Nice stuff. Is this a camera projection or is all textured the good old way. I kind of wanted the camera to move forward instead of just panning.

All texture the good old way, yes a lot of people thought that would be better, but my initial idea was to do more panning than walking far, so I did not change the idea

hmm Yes and no, basically we took a lot of references online and we mixed and matched what we needed to achieve and what kind of features we liked to use in our model.
