The vfx tour

DPGrafik: We are definitely going to put together a DVD with content, but it needs to be organized and recorded. We have to wait until we get back to the states and recover from Colombia.

Yannick: Hahahaha Yeah.. Software reseller.. We were pulled over by the police while driving across the country side. They started searching us and the car. One of the police officers pulled out a poster for the VFXtour we had printed for students. He said he saw the commercial for this event on TV and was excited to have met us. We gave him and his fellow officers each a poster and they stopped the search and sent us on our way.. I was think it was exciting to be searched without a warrant. I will definitely post a video soon. I turned the camera on while one was searching. It's really cool to see people exciting about Visual Effects and the opportunity to learn something cool. I never thought the gift of knowledge could feel so great.

Sounds like it was organised by the local drug lord. Even the police knew about it? It really sounds like a crazy road trip movie.

yeah, i'm definitively seconding the idea of recording one of these events!
i think that would help a great deal of people out, all around the world ^_^

Well we can always hire some crazy cinema camcorder to get us ts version if the original vfxtour wont make one for decades :P
