I removed the DOF, but they wanted it back. Would it be art if I spent 1/2 day modeling tables and chairs, not be able to charge for my time, and starve ?

I was just thinking it should have been a good idea to make a night picture of this projet. you could hide the big machinery a give a nice mood.

This was one of those project that I didn't really want, so I priced it a little high, and got it anyway. I do want to give them what they paid for so I might do a night shot. I budgeted 3 days, and it only took me 1 1/2 days, so I might spend the other 1 1/2 days doing a night shot. They are happy with the day shot, and are paid in full, so anything else, for them, will be a plus.

I wouldn't send a night shot to them, they already paid, they are happy...it's enought!!.....if you send another view for free they will expect the same for future jobs, so they get 2 views for the price of 1 view.....if they keep coming back for more work, and some day they want to reduce the price, you can negociate with extras instead.

Here is the night scene. I know... a lot of noise, and bold tonal contrast. I was playing around, so I tried some stuff, in reference to some night photos I was looking at.

I favor number one, except the noise of course.. well a little less noise =) In my opinion some noise but a little smoother, lets say some dirt, makes the scene more natural.
