In the mean time I received some comments about the illustration. It seems that some people don't get the hint that the Linux penguin is breaking (the) Windows (logo). Do you think so too or does the suggestion do enough here? I guess you must be quite naive not to understand what the penguin is breaking, or am I wrong?
Anyway, I'm rendering a remake right now, that includes the Windows logo in your face, so one can't mistake anymore.
Hi Metin!...nice image!!!
I do have to agree w/ the breaking of the win logo not being very obvous....I think your old image was more dynamic and understandable, partially because in your old one, you had part of the logo still intact and one could easily understand what was happening.....here it's harder to see that because the whole log is already broken......home that makes sense.
anyway, nice rendering!!
I guess you're right, although in my humble opinion an illustration doesn't always have to be very obvious. A suggestive value can give an illustration something to think about for the viewer. After all, the Linux mascot is breaking through four pieces of bent glass in four familiar colors, in front of a cloudy sky background. I figured that was enough to ring a bell.
But I'm currently rendering a revamp of the image, with the Win logo more intact, like the old one. I've tried the motion blur I used in the old one, in order to give it a sense of motion, but that makes everything lose its crisp detail though.

Especially if the title of the thread says: "Linux breaks Windows!"
Artists... I apologize I do like this one better than the update maybe an animated gif or series of cels would work for those of us wit no imagination.
