    I like the lighting!!, I think the pavment tiles seem a little too big, IMO.
    and maybe the door texture could be a little more defined.....
    just being picky, I guess.....
    also, is there glass in that window? right know it looks like a blank color....maybe some transparency could give it sonme deepth....

    I like it!

      Psy,

      Nice work!

      I agree with both comments, the door is extremely hard to read, the glass doesnt seem to have transperancy or reflections.. Is it frosted glass? I think you would still see the gate in the reflections a little more.

      Two other comments. The tiling on the steps, is it suppose to be that way. IMO, it looks like the tiling is angled or something is going on in the geometry.... Your work is great, so I dont think its that.....it just looks funny. The concrete steps and masonary pavers are to much of a contrast, use pavers on the steps....

      Your wall texture is awesome!

      Congrats.

            starting in reverse comment order:

            I worked in vray 1.09.03n-d for max6

            @guest
            Thank you.

            @Arkitec
            The door is hard to read as in it's too dark or in that it's just a bad texture job on it? The glass I'll fix since your quite right, even with a curtain, there should be some reflections. The steps were supposed to look like they were made of marble, thus the odd sharp angles on the texture, but I think I might switch them out for some steps made out of bunches of stones or maybe have no steps at all. By the way, what exactly are pavers?

            @cocolas
            Thanks.

              Strange... "Guest" was me

              I'm having problems with my home computer and was cleaning it off last night. Somehow it must have defaulted to Guest when I posted

              I thought Guests couldn't post.

                  I do

                  It's not too impressive but thanks for asking.

                  I have quite a few updates to do on it. Mostly updating the content to reflect what I've been working on over the past few months. It was mentioned to me that some browsers may not be able to view it and I haven’t taken the time to fix this yet but I plan to.

                      Psy,

                      Pavers are what you are showing as the ground plane in the the alley. Pavers are an option for a flooring material, such as, concrete, asphalt, etc. They are placed individually intsead of a monolithic pour.

                          Nice work, Psy, but:

                          window - as someone said: there are no reflection. if it is dusted, dhen it needs some texturing works

                          blured textures on the walls - try more detailed texture

                          architecture - too 'unreal'... maybe materials, but...

                          Good luck!

                            where is the tex blurred on the wall?

                            and how exactly is it unreal arch, ever been to italy?
