I agree, the over-all contrast really works! Something that I personally like- very dramatic. When I first view your stuff, it's almost gotten so, I don't even have to know who did the work. You have a singular style that's very fresh, masman1.

first of all nice work, the atmosphere of a dark cosy evening is perfect

the seat cushions look a tad hardedged to me
they look a bit like cardboard
