        @ frank

        This is no problem frank, if you use poser or textures from the net. BUT!
        u have to give the credits or specify that u used it from so and so or from the shop.For a new comer or newbee its like a wow image! but the truth is, it is not !its just cut and paste job and hit render ! and u get a cool image. because everyone thinks u have created this image from scratch! there is not original design for the characters....if this is what world likes i dont think this industry will run long. every kid can become a cool renderer and texture artist with the stuffs from the net !no prob if u want u can use it ! u can do it ! no doubt ! but pls mention the credits and help u used! this time its me..may be next time u see this thing in another forums by some other guy !I am not here for competition frank. we will meet some other time when i have enough time for showing offf!

        @ plastic

        this comment wasn't too smart, you know?

        well atleast some people came to know about it and hence forth in future people will think more before commenting on the image! wow! was this texture done by the artist or he used it from the net! what happens if all big companies start doing the same thing! use it from the shop!? where is the talent !???? where is the creativity????? where is the effort ???? i would prefer an ugly plastic image, atleast the artist trying to do something on his own or he is workin hard and seeking help!

        @ nully
        These are not my artworks...these are from the net shop and SOULPIX.

          @solo3d...

          okay one thing before i am really out of that thread. i hope my english is good enough for what i´m trying to explain.

          your point of view is very superficial and that kind of discussion is very very lame and old. like using gi is something evil. you could light the scene with bounce lights, that´s what i call handmade. pressing the gi button is no art and every conehead can do that. pictures using gi are not a piece of art, they are just a product of the computer. THAT IS ALL NONSENE..... you know where i´m leading to ? must painter create the ink with his own hands or can he buy the stuff he needs th create the picture ? not the WAY is important, the result. the computer is just another tool, nothing more. and i don´t thank black and decker when i´ve finished my shelf. oh man, i´m so tired of these ridiculous accusations....and i´m a bit angry about myself that i even answer to that...

                  i really dont mean also go that far, but some of you guys did.

                  i really dont feel bad about using some pre-made objects or textures or even animation, unless there is a very very powerfull reason. If you have a very strong idea and cant model or animate, or very tight deadline or i dont know... something reasonable, but if all you do is mainly use some pre-made models an textures and dont put anything more than that or put something very very weak like bad animation... sorry but, for me it is really crap. I am not saying soulpix works are bad, but it is soo close to be like the style of work that i just described.

                  3d is not like techno music! You can not really remix a 3d work or use samples, pieces or whatever, in a way that you can do in digital music. Even in the music industry, there are some music we call really "MUSIC" and some really CRAP!. For example, even if Bjork or Massive Attack is using samples of someones work, IMHO they create the most unique electronika or Triphop (or what ever you want to call it) music in the world, they have a very powerfull idea and feeling behind it (it even fits in the idea of using some elses work).

                  I am really sorry but i really couldnt find any reason,purpose or idea behind soulpix work in order to recycle 3d object/textures/backgrounds.
                  That is why when i saw the piece directly copied from "All is full of Love" in soulpix showreel, i said to myself "it comes very close to an extend that it hurts the feelings of the people who really work on that nice piece of music video called "All is full of Love".

                  From my point of view, i am really concern about this mater and i even dont want to recycle my own past work. I really prefere to do it even all over again.

                  To soulpix.... if it is the amount of people work in your studio.... hire me.. maybe i can help!

                      @taboo
                      There are a lotof artists on this forum who use models that they themselves did not model and give no credit. Why then is it that this artist was singled out and made an example of?

                      It would be considered silly and ridiculous if I pointed out every single copied mesh in every image I saw on a daily basis. But yet, none of us do it because we have at least a little respect for the person who is trying to do something artsy.

                      @metroberlin
                      Please tell me that not all Germans are odd to spill blood?

                            ...a bad joke actually. Some people seem to see just black and white.
                            "do all the companys in germany work like this?" What is it? Can this be true??? This is beyond stupid. This is pure Stupidity!!!
                            Do all americans ask such stupid, narrow-minded, respectless questions?

                            To the topic: It's fairer to say that you used some commercial stuff, especially if these are main characters and not just background objects.

                            Good work on the destroyed city in"tube" though. The HighRes renders are much better then the video.

                              i don´t like the music but i like some of the animations and renderings, and thats the important part we have to look at here.

                                this is the worst music video i have ever seen.
                                i cannot understand why someone is paying money for such bad work.

                                i looked at the website and there is not one original piece of artwork.
                                everything you see is either from a library like de espona, turbosquid.
                                the characters are from poser or bought at renderosity from other artists without crediting them, the rest is badly modeled stuff, design stolen from movies. 90 % of the animation are motion capture files from the character studio cd.

                                please excuse my unconstructive post but i am sick of untalented people taking credit for the work of real artists.
