here two new examples for my hdri tests in low resolution. the original renderings are 4000x2000. it´s a direct rendering with matte shadow material. no postproduction.
A stupid question ¿how do you setup the hdri to look like that? I never try, thats why I am asking.
Any change sharing the setting of the glass, I always have problems with car windows, the glass turns into magnifying glass
maybe the IOR is my problem.
One thing the chromatic prob of the hrdi gives is a background with a nice retro litho feel. Regardless-beautiful work, the head-on- the map choices... all of it.
Do think the paint may be a touch thick- just my .02

Does your windows have thickness? If no, you have yo use IOR=1.0 because otherwise your glass will look like it's infinitly thick.
Great model and great reflections...
Did u model the car in rhino??
I head some tutorials of how to make a car in rhino but i can't understand it!!! Can someone give me a hand?? plzzz
Flipside, I did some easier tutorials, but none had the things I was looking for to start my car! I already made the splines for the car, like in this Audi tut http://www.ifrance.com/LMD/html/audittUS.html , but im stuck in the part that i have to create the windows surface, because i can't get the surface to folow the lines! I enter the comands like it says in the tut, but it doesn't create the same surface!
Do you have Icq or MSN so we can talk better??
