  • Taking a break from Arch-Vis

    Last proper day of my hols, so I thought I would do something a little different than a building to round it off.

    Still got a bit to do. The lighting was also pretty standard, one directional light and an HDRI in the environmental slot.

    i personally think you should stick to arch viz. your other stuff doesnt look good. for instance. this looks like a photograph. your supposed to see bad samples, bad polygon smoothing groups, inverted faces....nono this wont do it looks too real. needs to look more like bad 3d. hehe looks great

      Wow. This looks GREAT. Maybe need a hint of some specular on the wooden handle in the top image, but the second one is absolutely photographic. No one would know it's not a snapshot from a camera. Great job.

        Really nice, especially the blade, since it's so hard to make flat surfaces reflect correctly.

          That looks really great. But some displacement text on the base of the blade would make it look better.
