Still lots of grid artifacts, like "black bubbles" etc... So it won't pass as a commercial without heavy retouching.
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

yes, the jet has some issues. i think this is not grid artifacts, but is related to the advection.

Hm, from what I see - black foam bubbles, flickering. I think it is grid artifacts, like the one, I was facing.

All this sim was done like a test, so it is not for commercials purposes. I was render on first go so there is some thing which i dont like. The bubles are not black, black are wholes in beer which can be solved by tweaking surface level

maybe later, but it is simple, increasing and decreasing surface level, your liquid si thinner and thicker.

Decreasing SL you're changing your fluid look, so f.e. it'd be hard to guess where that foam are coming from, because your fluid got thicker and the foam would look like it's running before the liquid.

Very small number can fix it, maybe 2 milimeters thicker liquid. The foam is respecting surface level, because it looks if is inside or outside of liquid, so what was before outside will be now inside and you can use 2 separated shaders for foam and bubles. Also i tryed to check cut above surface when i was simulating different versions and also this parameter fill the glass without holes.

                      Love this sim larex.
if you dont mind sharing, what were your settings for foam generation?
And what was you grid size?

Looking at getting a nice beer setup like this.

                      Thanks.
