  • Car renders

This is the first time for me on this forum, there's a lot of great work here. I've been using Vray since beta and still think it's the best GI renderer for Max. It's fun to see what other people are doing with Vray and I like looking through the image uploads section. I just thought I'd share a few of my current images. The IRL race car was created for an animation I did here in Phoenix for a local driver. I did not model the Porsche, but It was such a great model - I had to render it in Vray. [/img]

I don't see any ferrari here... do you?

BTW, jwatson, your work is great! Should be nice to make the cover boxes of SW and Sim City, and they looked very nice.

Great work on the race car. The paint and tires look excellent. Care to explain your materials techniques for those great highlights (primarily the blue areas)?

I agree the blue paint on the indy car is excellent! maybe the MB is little strong but still a very nice image, have you rendered an animation of it?

btw we only have a few degrees of seperation, hows the "truggy" going?

Let me know what you think - How did you know about the
            truggy?

Truggy Ani is coming along nicely, I think it could use even more dust and billow out to the sides at the tires. I knew about the truggy through Matt and Sarah, my cousins, Don't know if you know them but they are involved somehow.
