Apart from the foliage, one of the best outdoor shots I've seen so far. The light feels very realistic. Well done!

i thought you do all you grass stuff in post..

did you switch to displaced grass?

i guess you did your fantastic blurry glas in one of your exterior images on you homepage in post too, or did you do it in max??

              an admirer

-the grass is made with displacement.
-your're right stephan_MA, mostly we do the grass in post with fotos.
but for big overviews of a project it's a pain to composit all the grass into
                the rendered picture.
-which picture are you reffering to stephan?

                    I am new here...

                    please post your settings.

secondary illumination is perfect for architecture.

                    thanks in advance

                      Wow

                      very relistic!

Did the architect liked the black windows (most time they want to have a look inside, even if it's not realistic)

                      All grass displacement?

                      regards,

                      robert

first thanks for compliments, that motivates me every time =)

@ 3dform: it's still wip, so no clue on what the architect will say. displacement only in the 2 'grass-pix', the first is a simple texture-map.

@stephan_MA: the pic that you mentionned is rendered with lightscape =)

@zippy: the settings are pretty much the same as described under this topic: http://www.chaoticdimension.com/foru...pic.php?t=4916

                            yes i know..

but did you do the blurring in post or in lightscape?

was lightscape faster in blurring reflections etc??

                            regards

the blurring is done in LS.
the render-time depends on the aa-quality of the render-prams.
in this case it was used a aa-depth of 5. so it takes some time.
the oem-pic is rendered in a 3508x2480 pix-res and took apprx. 3h to rendering.
