Wow it's great looking and I have to say that it's one of the best implementations of the RPCs I've seen.

the metal settings are very simple and fast to render.

Nice image. What is that multi-colored wall? It is hiding the nice handrail detail. Would be interested to see it without the glass wall. Seems like the underside of the landing is getting a little blown out. The wall sconce could use some work. Love the metal dots on the floor.

                    hi dmartind3
the glass wall is an interactive media wall which the client is installing, and yes the underside of the stair is a little blown out, just not enough time to iron everything out

Hey Natty, nice work, i love it, and the rpc guys, i do use 'em a lot, because as u said some clients just wont go without their tasteless rpc, but they are the ones with the bucks in their hands so, i also use rpc, but, i have to tell you that the billboarding on those rpc looks weird, they look too flat and like if they were abut to fall over the stairs, and this is becaus ethe focal point of view and the billboarding.
I JUST LOVE the way you put the "animated" stuff in the glass mind to share how did u did that?

                        Thanks bro. ill cu later
                        Best Regards.

                          hi Oblivion
aparently rpc people are only any good when you look at them at eye level, so when you start tilting them past 10 degrees they look crap.
the media wall is a standard material with a map that i made in the diffuse slot and then a vray map in the refractive slot set to around 80% and another vray map in the reflective slot set to around 60%.
i played around with double sided on the glass and i liked the affect that it gave because it looked like a slight motion blur, anyway thanks for all your comments .... top bunch of 3Ding peopele
